I’m a counseling intern at The Berman Center specializing in integrating mind-body techniques with expressive arts therapy.
Currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program at Amridge University, my research focuses on neuroscience, yoga, and traumatic stress responses.
Making good use of my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Appalachian State University, I’ve dedicated my time to serving the community by leading a volunteer art program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In addition, I’m a registered yoga instructor who conducts workshops for people in recovery from addiction and mental health conditions.
As the former the Executive Director of Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (a non-profit membership of addiction professionals), I’ve advocated tirelessly to reduce the stigma which surrounds addiction and mental health recovery.
