I’ve assisted clients in areas such as life transitions, codependency, depression, anxiety, coping skills, family conflict, healthy relationships, and adjustment disorders, in individual, family, and group settings.
However, I do feel that my specialty is addiction and substance abuse. When I was 18, I myself got sober, and it was my own recovery process that drew me into the field of counseling, where it has been and is my honor to assist others. I feel that I have an advantage because of my true understanding of the seat in which my clients find themselves.
I’m a solution-focused therapist who passionately directs my clients toward self-understanding, useful life tools, and techniques for transformation, while supporting them with deep acceptance and true caring.
When not working with others, I enjoy spending time with my hilarious husband, my adorable baby boy, and my sweet dog and cat; I also enjoy playing tennis, being outside, and munching on some good food.
