It takes a lot of courage to seek out therapy, so I commend you for considering this journey! I can’t wait to work with you and your loved ones.
I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings in such as crisis stabilization units, on-campus counseling centers, private practice offices, and intensive outpatient services. I enjoy working with individuals, groups, families, and couples in overcoming a wide variety of struggles such as depression, anxiety, relationship reparation, identity formation, and substance use recovery.
My goal is to come alongside clients to develop a well-balanced lifestyle so that they can feel self-confident, fulfilled, and intimately connected to others. I utilize a Person-Centered approach while also drawing from aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I also often employ helpful tools from The Gottman Institute. (Bonus points if you like the Enneagram!)
When I’m out of the office, I enjoy hiking with my husband and dog, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family. I love any and all kinds of music, playing tennis, spending time outside, and (attempting to) cook.
