Addiction and Mental Health
Treatment Center

If you or someone close to you is struggling with addiction or mental health disorders, it’s essential to know that there are treatment options available. Many people avoid getting treatment because they compare themselves to others and don’t think that their addiction is really that bad, or they are worried about the cost of mental health treatment.

But if your addiction or mental health disorders have interfered with your daily life, caused relationship problems or financial strain, or changed how you think and feel, it’s time to consider help. A Fulton County treatment center can put you back on the right track before things get worse.

The Berman Center provides a range of treatment options for things like anxiety, depression, alcoholism, and drug addiction. Call us today to verify your insurance benefits.

WHY TREATMENT MATTERS

The Importance of Getting Treatment

Without treatment, individuals struggling with mental health disorders, addiction, or both run the risk of increased mental and physical health problems. A Fulton County treatment center gives you a way to make a real change in your life.

Those struggling with addiction can end their substance abuse by eliminating their physical dependence and addressing environmental and behavioral issues that have contributed to addiction.

Those struggling with mental health disorders can change the way they view themselves or their symptoms, learn coping techniques and strategies to control those symptoms, and find medication if necessary.

Recovery from addiction or mental health disorders requires that you change how you think, feel, and act. Without proper help from a designated treatment center, you won’t gain insight into how you can maintain your recovery and positive mental health each day.

The Berman Center can help. Call our team today to learn more about our outpatient plans.

Dual-Diagnosis

For individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, we have dual diagnosis outpatient programs that encourage treatment for both conditions simultaneously. These programs are structured similarly to our individual addiction or mental health programs but with a schedule that provides coping skills, education, and relapse prevention in addition to other individual and group therapy sessions.

Alumni Program

At the end of addiction or mental health treatment programs, you can join our alumni program. This program continues to curate the sense of connection, authenticity, and belonging that are vital to long-term recovery and positive mental health. These programs meet twice per month, on Wednesdays.

One session each month is dedicated to an informal space where clients can talk about their successes or struggles and create that soul-to-soul connection that is integral to long-term recovery.

The other session is dedicated to group activities paid for by The Berman Center. These activities look different from one month to the next and might include outings to:

  • Escape rooms
  • Movie theaters
  • Game nights
  • Bowling
  • Putt putt golf
Ignite for Teens

We also provide a Teen mental health program: IGNITE. This program is an intensive outpatient program that spans eight weeks. You can expect to see a part-time schedule of different group therapies and holistic modalities a few days per week from 10:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon. Family therapy is an integral part of the sessions, helping to provide loved ones with the knowledge they need to improve communication and support.

After completing this program, teens have the option of participating in an alumni service that meets every week for informal group sessions that continue to foster feelings of community, connection, and acceptance.

The Berman Center understands the importance of family integration in treatment which is why we encourage participation in family therapy programs as part of your recovery.
