Our 4 Comprehensive Outpatient Programs
Understand the mental, physical, and spiritual components of our Atlanta outpatient mental health and addiction recovery programs.
Mental Health
All Berman Center therapists are highly trained to treat a wide variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, schizoaffective disorders, and trauma. We’ll discuss your specific needs and offer you a custom-tailored program to address your individual issues.
Addiction Recovery
Ignite for Adolescents
IGNITE is an 8-12 week intensive outpatient program for adolescents ages 14-18 who are living with mental health issues. Participants learn the life skills needed to navigate our complex world and to develop insight into who they are, why they do what they do, and how they can create meaningful lives by contributing to others. Some participants choose to participate in a short term step-down program.
Mental Health & Addiction Recovery
Our Adult Day Program (also known as Partial Hospitalization Program – PHP) is a higher level of care without the need for inpatient treatment. Our program participants learn skills to navigate life’s challenges while becoming part of a strong community of Berman Alumni (TRIBE). Everyone’s “treatment team” is comprised of licensed psychotherapists, medical doctors, spiritual leaders, and experienced counselors.
A Collaborative Approach
Meet the clinicians, spiritual counselors, program directors, admission counselors, care counselors, financial case managers, personal trainers, psychiatrists, and experiential therapists who will guide your journey.

Take Control of Your Life
1. Tell Us What's Going On
Call or email us to set up a time to talk. We will listen to your story and ask you some initial questions to determine if The Berman Center provides the care you need. We will also answer your questions about our approach, finances, our staff, and anything else you want to know. You’ve made it this far. You can do this.
2. Come In for a Tour
If we seem like a good match on the initial call, we’ll invite you in for a tour. You’ll meet our staff and we’ll continue our conversation to better understand your situation. The responses you provide in an intake assessment will determine the level of care you need. Our medical, clinical, financial, and admissions teams will review your information and determine if The Berman Center is the right place for you to get help. If we are not, we will help you find the place that is.
3. Make the Commitment
Once we determine that our outpatient treatment center in Atlanta is the right partner for you, we’ll ask you to agree to our policies and provide an initial payment. We’ll also ask you to submit to a drug screen and commit to staying substance-free while in our program.
4. Begin Your Healing Journey
Prior to your start date, we’ll determine the best therapist for you and establish your treatment plan. On your first day, you’ll meet with your care team, connect with other clients, and select the groups you will participate in. We will welcome you with open arms into our supportive, compassionate community.
