Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our 8-week IOP program allows participants to maintain daily responsibilities, such as work or school, while receiving comprehensive treatment for mental health or substance use disorders 3 days a week in our Atlanta based facility.

Paying for Treatment

Outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment programs offer a significant advantage in terms of flexibility and cost-effectiveness compared to their inpatient counterparts. These programs allow individuals to maintain their daily routines while receiving the essential care they need, making them an appealing option for many.

A common misconception is that treatment costs are prohibitively high and often beyond reach. However, it’s important to understand that health insurance can significantly alleviate these financial burdens, making treatment more accessible. At the Berman Center, we collaborate with a variety of insurance providers to ensure that our clients can receive the best possible care without overwhelming costs.

Our dedicated admissions team is well-versed in navigating the complexities of insurance policies. They are available to assist you in reviewing your specific coverage details, laying out a transparent breakdown of the expenses associated with the most suitable treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

In cases where certain aspects of your care might not be covered by insurance, our empathetic team is ready to discuss various alternative payment options that can help ease the financial strain. Furthermore, we understand that some families may face extraordinary challenges, which is why we offer financial assistance in the form of scholarships for those in need, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access vital mental health and substance abuse treatment.

You will take part in traditional group and individual treatment sessions, but we also offer yoga classes, personal training, and a variety of creative-expression classes that can act as powerful supplements to your personalized treatment program.

Our Nurturing Team of Professionals

The Berman Center team of licensed clinicians, medical professionals, psychiatrists, physical trainers, and spiritual guides are down-to-earth and welcoming. Alumni Aftercare Support

The Berman Center offers a strong alumni program called TRIBE for those who have graduated. TRIBE is a collaborative process group where alumni come together with The Berman Center staff to experience continued connection and safety.

We believe that the core foundation to healing starts with connection. That connection to the community is formed while at The Berman Center and carries through Tribe long after completion of the program. We are a family of our own choosing! Tribe is a safe place to be your authentic self and share life’s successes and struggles TOGETHER! We can’t wait to meet you and warmly welcome you to your new Tribe!

Family Support

Family engagement is a huge part of recovery and wellness. At The Berman Center, we offer weekly family support groups as well as on-going biweekly family therapy throughout your loved ones’ treatment with us.
