Katie Reid, LMSW

Clinician, Academic Liaison

I believe creating a strong therapeutic alliance and a safe and nonjudgmental space is the first step toward helping clients heal. I work collaboratively with my clients and their families through a strength-based and solution-focused lens. Coming from a background in CBT, trauma work, and mindfulness, I use evidence-based techniques to help develop practical skills for managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, school avoidance, and other challenges commonly experienced during adolescence.
As the Academic Liaison, I communicate with schools, clinicians, clients, and families to learn how we can best work together as a team to help our adolescents. I frequently assist families in getting 504s, medical leave, or other school accommodations so our teens receive more social, emotional, and academic supports in school.
Whether in academics or through therapy, I tailor my interventions to meet the specific needs of each client to promote lasting positive change. Together, we can create a path of healing, growth, and resilience.
