Adult Partial Hospitalization Program

Our Atlanta Partial Hospitalization Program offers comprehensive and evidence-based plan for your recovery. The goal is to help you transition to a life where you feel healthy and self-sufficient and have a sense of support.

The treatment team in a PHP includes medical doctors, counselors, psychotherapists, and spiritual leaders.

You can work towards developing coping and life skills that’ll help you transition to a lower level of care.

The program requires a time commitment of five days a week, with daily group therapy sessions. You’ll also have a weekly individual talk therapy session; monthly, there are two family therapy sessions.

An intensive outpatient program in Atlanta is for adults at least 18 years old. IOPs can be as effective as going to a residential program, but you have more flexibility. This flexibility lets you maintain school, home, or work responsibilities.

If you’re in our IOP, you visit our center for services during the day, returning home by the afternoon.

You live independently to develop a sense of accountability for your recovery.

At The Berman Center, our signature teen program is called Ignite. Ignite is specialized specifically for the needs of teens between the ages of 14-18.

The Ignite program is an intensive outpatient lasting for ten weeks. Our therapists approach treatment plans holistically, so they’re tailored to your child’s needs every week, including spiritual, mental, and physical.

It’s common for teens participating in our programs to be in school simultaneously, so our academic liaison can help ensure your child meets all their school requirements. Our teen program also includes access to professional tutors.

Our family emphasis helps everyone get a deeper understanding of what their loved one is going through. As family members, you’ll learn to be active and supportive in your teen’s healing and recovery process.
