Yes — while The Berman Center’s physical location is in Atlanta, we welcome clients from Alpharetta and the surrounding North Fulton region. Many of our clients travel from Alpharetta for high-quality, specialized outpatient care.

The Berman Center is located at 6425 Powers Ferry Road NW, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30339. Depending on where in Alpharetta you’re coming from and traffic conditions, the drive typically takes about 25 to 35 minutes.

We understand travel can be a barrier. While our primary services are in-person, here are some options to consider:

• We may coordinate session scheduling to accommodate the longer commute for Alpharetta clients (e.g., earlier or later time slots).
• In some cases and subject to clinical appropriateness and licensing limitations, telehealth or hybrid (part in-person / part virtual) options may be available. Please ask during your intake about how we might accommodate remote participation.
• Carpooling, ride-hailing services (Uber, Lyft), or local transportation options may also help reduce logistical burden.

Clients from Alpharetta have full access to all outpatient programs offered at The Berman Center, including:

• Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
• Adolescent (ages 14–18) IOP / PHP (IGNITE)
• Mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and dual-diagnosis services
• Individual therapy, group therapy, complementary care (e.g. yoga, creative arts)
• Case management, assessments, and coordination of care

Yes. We accept many major insurances; however, coverage can vary depending on your plan and your specific location (some plans are network- or region-limited). During the intake process, we’ll verify your insurance benefits. If needed, we also offer self-pay and may have options for financial assistance. Be sure to ask our admissions team about cost and payment options before you commit.

3. Our clinical team will design a treatment plan tailored to you (scheduling that accounts for your commute).
4. We’ll coordinate ongoing therapy, group sessions, and any case management or referrals you might need.

We strive to minimize disruption. Many clients commute regularly. To support that:

• We schedule consistent weekly times whenever possible.
• We provide written or digital session summaries and assignments to keep momentum between visits.
• We remain flexible and open to feedback — if your travel becomes burdensome, we can reevaluate scheduling or telehealth options.

• If your insurance is restricted by geography or network, you’ll want to confirm with your insurer whether services at our Atlanta address are covered.
• Telehealth availability depends on state licensing and clinical appropriateness; not all services or sessions may be eligible for virtual delivery.
• In rare cases, scheduling constraints (e.g. very early or very late times) may limit which session slots are available.

Yes. Family members, including those living in Alpharetta, are often part of the care plan when appropriate. They may attend in-person sessions, or sometimes via telehealth if needed and permitted. We’ll coordinate scheduling to maximize convenience.
